Enclosed open house

The Enclosed Open House designed by Wallflower architecture is an outstanding example of inside out design. Not only is the layout carefully thought throug, but the materiality is breathtaking. The use of timber, glass and reflection of water assist in creating clean and modern architecuture, but also add warmth and a welcoming feel.

Wall paper

I found this website, Vision Wallcoverings that sells wall papers, stickers, borders, adhesives, murals etc. They have so many styles, types and colours to choose from. You could spend a whole day searching through their online catalogue.


I am thinking about going for a touch of red in our new place, and this one took my fancy.

2011 Colours

Out of curiosity I googled 'colour for 2011'. The most referenced individual colour was a dulux colour of 2011 and a pantone colour of 2011.

After attending the ISCD colour forecast last november, these results aren't what I had imagined. However the colour palettes being put forward for 2011 were quite similar to those presented at ISCD.
